Karla Alvarado | HR & Beneifts Manager

Karla is a bilingual HR and Talent Acquisition professional with more than 15 years of experience supporting organizations across healthcare, fintech, nonprofit, government, and technology.

Throughout her career, she has built a strong foundation in full-cycle and high-volume recruiting, HR operations, and strategic workforce planning, progressing from hands-on recruiting and HR generalist roles into leadership and consulting positions. She is particularly skilled at partnering with business leaders to develop practical hiring strategies that align talent needs with broader organizational goals.

Prior to joining Sageview Consulting, Karla managed complex recruitment initiatives for organizations with diverse and global workforces, often overseeing 30–45 or more requisitions simultaneously. Her experience spans recruitment for positions at all levels, as well as onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, workers’ compensation, compliance, and HR operations.

She is also highly experienced with HR technology and systems, including Workday, iCIMS, UKG, and ADP, and takes a data-driven approach to improving processes and strengthening recruiting outcomes.

At Sageview Consulting, Karla currently serves as the HR & Benefits Manager for Sinai Residences, where she works closely with leadership and team members to better understand organizational challenges and opportunities.

She believes strongly in listening first and gaining a thorough understanding of the business before implementing changes, allowing her to develop solutions that are both strategic and responsive to the organization’s needs.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Human Resource Management and has earned certifications including SHRM-AOL, OSHA 10, and a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate.
