It is our pleasure to announce that Lisbeth Rock will join Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County as Executive Director of the Jewish Community Foundation (JCF) and Vice President for Development, effective March 2. Lis is a deeply respected professional leader in the Palm Beaches’ Jewish community with a strong record of accomplishments in elevating and advancing Jewish philanthropy.

In her new role, Lis will drive JCF strategy and growth in partnership with the JCF Chair and other colleagues. As a member of the FRD Senior Team, Lis will manage a broad portfolio of responsibilities including strengthening major donor relationships and other Campaign priorities. Lis’s impressive depth of experience and talent will serve her well in this key professional leadership role, designing and executing a vision for the JCF and positioning Federation as our community’s center for Jewish philanthropy.

Since 2018, Lis has been the Director of Annual and Planned Giving at MorseLife, a partner agency of Federation, where she successfully managed its annual campaign, grateful patient fundraising, strategies with professional advisors, and development communications. From 2012-2018 at Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County, Lis served as Director of Foundation Leadership Engagement at south county’s JCF where she grew its Professional Advisory Committee, directed the Jewish Women’s Foundation of South Palm Beach County, and successfully guided Donor Advised Fund account holders.

Lis’s appointment marks the culmination of a national search led by Sageview Consulting. We are grateful to the dedicated members of the recruitment committee that included four lay leaders and twelve professional colleagues for their insights into how best to fill this vital role. We also thank our JCF colleagues Elaine Aronoff, Adriana Lopez, Catherine Montelbano, and Fran Pensky for their deep commitment to the JCF and our supporters while this search was underway.
